Garden Tables
Furnish your outdoor space with an attractive and comfortable garden table at a price that fits perfectly within your budget! Maison Pavane offers a wide selection of garden tables to arrange your outdoor space and turn it into a pleasant place to live. Metal, resin, teak or terrazzo—you will find tables to suit every style and in every colour, allowing you to create the relaxing space of your dreams in the middle of your garden or beside your pool, on your patio or balcony. One thing is certain: with our durable and ultra-trendy garden tables, your outdoor evenings will feel like a holiday!
How to choose a garden table: round, rectangular, square or oval—what are the advantages?
Round or oval garden tables: a round table will bring softness to your setting and a real sense of conviviality to meals with friends and family. This type of rounded shape feels more generous thanks to its curves and allows all your guests to see and chat with one another during meals!
Rectangular garden tables: the rectangular shape of a garden table creates a more rustic feel and is better suited to a more classic setting, reminiscent of beautiful family tables for large gatherings. This type of table is very practical, as it provides more space for decorations or serving dishes and allows you to seat a good number of guests.
Square garden tables: If you are looking for a table for your balcony, we recommend choosing a square-shaped table, as it fits perfectly and easily into long, narrow spaces.
Looking for originality and rarity? Then choose an octagonal garden table.
What size garden table should you choose?
To choose your ideal table, it is important to first determine the amount of space available where you would like to place it. The choice of garden table size also depends on the number of people who will regularly sit at it and how you wish to position your garden chairs. Are there three or four people in your family? Choose a small but extendable table if you enjoy hosting guests. Don't have much space but want a table for special occasions and entertaining in comfort? Choose a folding table, which can be stored easily while preserving your space.
Alternatively, some garden tables feature extension systems. Some garden tables are extendable thanks either to an additional tabletop or extensions that slide into slots, or to tabletops already attached to the table that fold down and up using a hinge system, or a "butterfly extension", which works by pulling the two halves of the table apart to reveal the additional tabletop and enlarge the table.
Which material should you choose for a garden table?
Concrete-effect or terrazzo tables
The very mineral and stylish concrete-effect table enhances the modernity of contemporary homes. In the same spirit, terrazzo is a beautiful material for outdoor use, combining durability and style. First used for construction in Italy in the 1920s, terrazzo brings a retro-vintage style and has made a comeback in interior design over the past few years. A terrazzo garden table offers charm and sturdiness.
Resin garden tables
Resin is ideal if you want a low-maintenance table. It is available in a variety of shapes and colours. It should not be confused with woven resin, which is often mistaken for woven rattan or wicker because of its appearance. The advantage of resin is that it is a waterproof material. You can therefore easily install it on an uncovered patio, in a garden or beside a swimming pool. Resin is highly durable, does not stain, deteriorate or fade. Its light weight makes it easy to move your outdoor furniture around and refresh your outdoor space.
Teak garden tables
Teak is a precious and rot-resistant wood. This wood has enabled Maison Pavane to create and offer magnificent garden tables that adapt to your needs and your desire for a natural setting. Made from this exotic wood, a teak table will win you over with its qualities: strength, reliability and durability (teak is unaffected by bad weather or changing climate conditions).
Metal garden tables
Metal garden tables pair perfectly with other materials and bring the style you desire. Metal is often said to offer extensive customisation possibilities and to adapt to your needs and preferences. Metal is a durable and eco-friendly material. In fact, metal is recyclable.
How do you maintain your garden or outdoor table?
We are always looking for easy ways to maintain our garden table, aren't we? Here are a few tips.
Wood is one of the most demanding materials to maintain. Water and soap may be enough for everyday stains, but a maintenance treatment, chosen according to the type of wood, should be added to ensure its colour lasts. You can also sand the wood along its grain to restore your garden table.
On a new teak table, the original finish does not protect against greasy stains. See which protection to apply from the very first meals.
Materials such as steel, aluminium and resin are easy to clean. All you need is water and soap. For stone, you will need to add a water-repellent treatment to protect the table from moisture. If you choose a steel table and a chip appears, do not hesitate to apply a rust-inhibiting product to limit the spread.
What should you do with your garden table in winter?
To preserve your outdoor table as effectively as possible, if you have a garden shed, cellar or garage, we strongly recommend storing the garden table in one of these places. Remember to cover the table with a protective cover, as this prevents moisture and protects it from dust. If you do not have shelter for your table, protect it entirely with an outdoor tarpaulin. We recommend doing the same for all your garden furniture.
