Unsure about the seat height?
There are two types of bar stools: those designed for kitchen islands and those suited to bar tables, which are generally taller.
To make the right choice, start by measuring the height of your table:
- If your island is between 87 and 100 cm high, choose a seat height between 62 and 70 cm.
- If your high table or bar is between 96 and 110 cm high, opt for a seat height between 71 and 80 cm.
For optimal comfort, allow approximately 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the tabletop.

Vendue à l'unité, la chaise de bar Adelmar associe une coque en contreplaqué courbé ton bois clair à un coussin en cuir synthétique blanc, sur un pied central en métal chromé. La coque arrondie enveloppe le dos et les côtés, dans l'esprit du mobilier des années 60.
Elle se règle en hauteur, de 62,5 à 83,5 cm d'assise. La même chaise suit donc un îlot de cuisine autour de 90 cm comme un bar haut jusqu'à 110 cm. Elle pivote aussi sur elle-même, pour se tourner vers la conversation ou se relever sans reculer. Un anneau repose-pieds chromé et un large socle rond assurent la stabilité.
L'assise de 46 × 45 cm est garnie d'une mousse de 28 kg/m³, entre souplesse et maintien. Le cuir synthétique blanc se nettoie d'un simple passage d'éponge humide, et la chaise reste impeccable, jour après jour, au plus près du plan de travail.
L'inspiration de notre expert déco : au-dessus de l'îlot, une suspension en bambou naturel, comme l'Anya, reprend le ton clair de la coque et apporte la douceur d'une matière tressée face au chrome du pied.
