Description
Sold in sets of 2, the Simone chairs combine three materials: a dark wooden backrest, a burgundy leopard-print fabric seat and a slim black metal base. Against a cream background, the burgundy spots of the pattern give this chair plenty of character.
The seat is slightly recessed in the centre, creating a cocooning position with good support for the pelvis. It is padded with 28 kg/m³ foam, soft and more yielding than firm. Measuring 46 cm wide and 45 cm deep, it is 48 cm from the floor, the standard height for dining chairs. The rounded backrest supports the lower back.
Our interior design expert’s inspiration: around a walnut-veneer table, such as the Asma or Aya, the wood of the tabletop and backrest pair beautifully, while the burgundy leopard print adds warmth to the whole. An ecru wool rug and a brushed brass pendant light complete this look.
In the Simone collection, the same chair is also available in khaki green velvet. The burgundy leopard print also comes as a chair for a kitchen island, as do the khaki velvet and beige fabric versions—perfect for coordinating the table and kitchen.

Interview
Regularly dust the seat using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment. In case of stains, dab without rubbing with a clean, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then leave to air-dry away from any heat source. The seat cover is not removable: avoid soaking the fabric and do not use solvents or abrasive products, which could dull the pattern. Clean the wooden backrest and metal legs with a soft cloth, wiping them dry immediately afterwards.
